Strategic Partnerships: Our strategic business partners help us to grow our customer base and achieve our strategic goals. Our partners share similar values and customer profile.

Cost Accounting System: As a small business we are proud of our Cost Accounting System.   As a federal contractor we comply with the DCAA Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), which are meant to create consistency in pricing and accounting practices. To meet these standards, our accounting system is standardized and we separate accounting functions such as timekeeping and accounts payable.  Furthermore, our system allows us to address the needs of each type of contract in which our business participates.

As required we accumulate costs by contract to determine their allowed ability per government regulations.

Ethics:   General government ethics guidelines call for a high degree of public trust, a high standard of conduct, avoiding conflicts of interest or any appearances of conflicts of interest, complete impartiality and lack of preferential treatment. ? At GSI, we adhere to a strict internal code of ethics.  We have developed a company wide ethics-training program that serves as the foundation for keeping our employees continuously informed of the importance of ethical standards and behavior. Our management team and employees are required to participate in an employee business ethics and compliance-training program.

Equal Opportunity in Employment and Contracting:  GSI values diversity in the workplace as well as in the marketplace and is committed to the principles of equal opportunity in employment and in contracting.  Our commitment to these principles are intended to promote diversity and ensure, to the maximum extent possible in balance with financially safe and sound business practices, the inclusion and utilization of minorities, women, individuals with disabilities, and minority, women, and disabled-owned businesses at all levels, in management and employment, in all business and activities, and in all contracts.  GSI prohibits any form of discrimination on any basis protected by applicable federal, state, or local law including race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, marital or parental status, family responsibilities, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, genetic information, or veteran status.

This statement applies to all terms, conditions, and privileges of employment, including, but not limited to, hiring, transfer, promotion, termination, training, compensation, and benefits. GSI provides reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with disabilities who are employees or applicants for employment, unless to do so would cause undue hardship to the company. In general, accommodation is any change in the work environment or in the way things are customarily done that enables an individual with a disability to perform his or her job and otherwise enjoy equal employment opportunities.

Equal Contracting Opportunity: GSI is committed to equal contracting opportunity for interested contractors and suppliers, including without limitation in its contracting with financial institutions, investment banking firms, investment consultants or advisors, financial services entities, mortgage banking firms, asset management entities, underwriters, accountants, brokers, broker-dealers, and providers of legal services.

Inclusive Environment:  At GSI our ability to help clients solve their most challenging problems and achieve success in their most critical missions hinges on our people.  We believe diversity of backgrounds contributes to more innovative ideas, which in turn drive better results for clients.  GSI’s commitment to an inclusive environment incorporates facilitating understanding and awareness, creating initiatives to improve the quality of work life for our staff.  From our long-standing relationship with organizations such Service Source and several federal agencies to supporting events such as local organizations, we understand diversity is central to who we are and what we do.  If you’re looking to work with, contract or collaborate with a company that is committed to helping you achieve your personal or business goals, GSI is the right company for you.  Here are some of the things we do to demonstrate our commitment to an inclusive environment:

  • Conducts training for managers on hiring and working with people with disabilities
  • Branding the company as an inclusive environment, reflective in all marketing materials
  • Provides “Internship” opportunities for people with disabilities, so that they can learn, gain experience, and eventually seek full time employment at the company
